This advance course will cover:
The motor industry.
This is a dynamic industry that is facing all kinds of problems and opportunities. After years of growth it is now in a decline with falling sales. Yet it continues to launch new vehicles on a regular basis. We will look at all the economic drivers that affect the manufacturers and in turn your fleet operations.
Pricing trends, resale values, maintenance plans, warranties, new models, supply issues, dealer groups, parts, etc. will all be covered. A senior industry representative will address the delegates.
Asset management.
This module will be split into the two main aspects of fleet management that affect your DEPRECIATION MANAGEMENT i.e. the correct purchasing of vehicles and the correct remarketing of vehicles.
There will be detailed discussions on - Replacement methods and the latest policies, Calculating projected resale values, Dealer selection, The used vehicle market, Controlling daily usage, The right time in the year to purchase vehicles, analysing depreciation costs and trends, systems to manage depreciation in the fleet.

Who should attend:
A prerequisite for the course is that delegates must have completed our five day intensive fleet management course
Delegates should bring a Financial Calculator. You are free to bring information on your own fleet operations which you can use during these courses. Please feel free to use laptops if this will help you during the course.
